Up for adoption is my version of this most precious doll kit. Twin A has all of the precious fragile beauty of a brand new baby. She has been sheer joy to reborn.
She is a tiny doll weighing 3 pounds 8 ounces and 17 inches. She can wear small newborn or larger preemie sizes.
I love the way the beautiful mouth of baby is open. She can hold onto a modified pacifier without any magnets.
I have spent many hours, days and weeks to bring this kit to the most realistic appearance. I have painted her only with layer upon layer of genesis heat set paint. Her skin tones are mottled and has almost a transluscent look to the skin.
She has been weighted with high quality fiber fill, glass beads and plastic poly pellets. She has full legs and 3/4 length arms. The body that I have used for her is perfect for her. It is the body from Bonnie Brown that was designed for Twin A and Twin B.
She has full and beautiful hand rooted eyelashes. They may look a bit fuller than most babies have but I love the way they do look on her. They have been sealed from inside. Her nostrils have been shaded for realism rather than opened.
My choice of technique for the hair on my reborns is painted. I love the way the strands look like they are lying close to babies scalp. It takes me every bit as long to paint hair on the dolls as rooting takes. I paint each strand of hair individually with a paint brush with the fewest bristles. It is an ideal choice for the doll person that wants to try on many different hats, caps and headbands. The darling style will always stay neat. I added a small amount of medium varnish to add even more realism.
I am meticulous with the details that I give my dolls. I shade and accentuate each and every fold, wrinkle and crease on my babies. The hands and feet, fingers and toes have been blushed adorably. I take extra time when painting the nail tips to look natural. The fingers and toes on baby are small but I was very happy with the end results.
The doll curls up in my arms so sweetly. She melts my heart when I look at her sweet face. I adore creating these reborns and give each one of them the patience, time and all of my skills.

Babies layette will include all of the clothing she is seen wearing. A custom certificate of adoption (please let me know the name you choose for the doll and the name of the adopting parent - I usually put the date of purchase as the date of adoption. If you'd like a different date please advise at time of payment.)

Included is a partial tummy plate that wraps around the cloth torso. It ties in the back with ribbons. I would advise not tying the ribbons to tightly and use only for posing purposes. It is painted to match the doll and came with the kit.
