I love this baby so much and creating her was so much fun! This was my first attempt at a light AA/Mixed/Ethnic skin tone and I love how it turned out.
This baby is painted with many, MANY layers of translucent Genesis heat set paints. She has the cutest feet ever!!
She is blushed in all the right places and double sealed for maximum protection. Her nails are tipped and sealed. Her nose is shaded, but not open. Her mouth is absolutely adorable.
Her hair and eyebrows were hand painted by the fabulous Cierra Watson from Special Moments Nursery.
Her eyelashes are hand rooted and she has newborn blue eyes.
Her limbs and head are weighted with glass pellets and topped off with Polyfil then sealed closed. Her cuddly doe-suede body was made just for her and it is weighed with a sealed pouch of fine glass beads and surrounded by Cluster Stuff. That makes her super soft. She also has a faint baby powder scent.
Lelou will arrive with a "baby shower in the box". All of her clothing is new and bought just for her. She will also include a few extra surprises.
