Quincy is a unique reborn drink and wet baby made from the Kyra head by Eva Holland and mixed limbs with a male body plate. He is 20” long with bent legs, weighs 7 pounds, and wears Newborn size clothing. IMPORTANT…The drink-and-wet mechanics involve plastic tubing and waterproofing of the cloth body so there is no concern about the insides becoming wet. Just take special care while feeding that the bottle does not drip excessively down the mouth and neck which could possibly seep inside the cracks or damage the paint on his face. Hold the bottle so that the special nipple fits inside completely; use a bib or burp cloth to keep his face dry, and use only distilled water in the bottle. Anything else could possible build up mineral deposits inside the mechanics and cause it to stop working much the same way as coffee pot does. To repeat…THIS BABY WILL NOT BECOME WET ON THE INSIDE NOR WILL IT FORM MOLD DUE TO THE SPECIAL CONSTRUCTION. DO NOT REMOVE THE BODY PLATE OR ANY PARTS OF THE BODY. To do so will ruin the doll. The heads of drink/wet reborn dolls are not as floppy and cannot turn as far as other reborns because of the tubing system inside. Feed the baby no more than two ounces at a time, slowly, gently squeezing the plastic bottle to send small swallows into his mouth. If you follow these guidelines, you will have a lot of fun feeding your baby and changing his diaper. Although this baby is relatively waterproof, DO NOT IMMERSE HIM IN WATER as that would result in overloading too much water onto the parts. Quincy has been painted with Liquitex artist/professional grade acrylic paints after proper prepping with Liquitex matt medium and proper curing before sealing. After detailed painting in many fine layers to achieve a realistic skin tone, he has sweet baby creases, hand rooted lashes, and thick medium brown rooted hair. Quincy comes home his new mommy with the outfits shown in the pictures, a special bottle and pacifier made especially for him, several diapers, and a cuddly receiving blanket.
