Introducing Kimberly! Kimberly was brought to life from the Realborn Kimberly sleeping sculpt. A Realborn is created from a computer scan of a real baby which is used to create the vinyl sculpt. This process makes breathtakingly realistic dolls with all the details of a real baby!
I use only the finest materials, and pay great attention to every detail. Her ultra realistic skin tones were formed using many layers of Genesis Heat Set paints, including veining, mottling, and tiny capillaries.
I took many close up photos of her, I love taking close up pictures so you can see the details of the baby doll you are getting. My photos are always taken in natural lighting with no editing done to them, they accurately represent her.
Her head is weighted so that you must support it like a real baby. She is accurately weighted with fine glass beads and filled with premium super soft polyfil. I do not skimp anywhere during the creation of these dolls. She is fully weighted, weighing 7 pounds 4 ounces! She fits perfectly into newborn sized clothing.
Her hair is a combination of prismacolor and paint, along with her delicately painted eyebrows. I love doing painted hair on these dolls, it is 100% mess and worry free, no matter how many times you want to put a hat on her little head, and it will never rub off or fade. It is painted in a realistic newborn hair pattern and looks like real hair!
She has eyelashes micro rooted with high quality Slumberland mohair, sealed from the inside.
She has been finished with a mixture I use to give the skin a pretty glow and as an extra layer of protection for complete permanence, and glossed in all the right places.
She has full limbs attached to a high quality, durable faux doe suede body.
