Thank you to everyone who contacted me about my other Sammie! Here is the second version I mentioned in my reply. Baby Sammie was created from the Marissa May ‘Sam’ sculpt. Like my other Sammie (already sold) this kit also arrived with a few flaws, but they are minor. Still she is a final sale. She has a few areas in the vinyl that are a little rough and it was hard to get the paint to blend as well- though this is not very noticeable now. The other flaw is a few little dots on her right cheek- this actually blends pretty well with her blushing.
Sammie was painted with paint produced specifically for reborns that was imported from Australia. She has an ivory and rose skin tone with some mottling. She has light-medium brown painted hair, delicate brows painted one stroke at a time and rooted lashes that have been sealed inside. She has veining and moisture inside her nose, inner ear, and corners of her eyes. Her nails have tips and shading details and were sealed. Her lips have a subtle gloss added to look a little wet and a little extra gloss was added inside her open mouth. She has blushing in all the right places and shading of thin skin, no crease was overlooked. She has a varnish over her paint for a little added protection.
She is newborn sized weighing about 4 and half pounds and 19” long. She was weighted with fine glass beads and premium poly-fil. She will need her head supported and careful handling just like a real baby. Although the Sam kit has ¾ limbs, I put her on a body for full legs because her legs are long enough and you have so many more clothing options. I have included a photo so that you can see how it looks. She has a strong magnet for a pacifier inside, so use caution around sensitive electronic devices especially pacemakers. Sammie is an art doll that was not created for nor safe for children. She is not meant for play.
