Ashley has been painted with many layers of GHSP, including flesh tones, mottling, veining, creasing, and blushing in order to achieve a realistic newborn skin tone. Ashley is an awake baby with applied eyelashes. She has hand painted brown hair, painted in many layers and with 4 different shades of brown to achieve realism and depth. She has a baby scratch on her upper lip. Ashley has been weighted with fine glass beads in her doe-suede body, limbs, and head. Her body has been stuffed with super soft Angel Silk polyester stuffing. Ashley's weighting has been carefully done to achieve a newborn baby feel while maintaining the cuddle-factor of a baby her age. Ashley has a magnet in her mouth for a magnetic pacifier.
Ashley has been painted to look like a small newborn baby. She has multiple layers of shading and undertones to give her complexion depth and realism. Ashley fits well in preemie and some smaller newborn sized clothing.
