Ivy is a larger reborn. Definitely not newborn size. :) She is on the heavy side and very floppy. Big cuddly baby! Ivy weighs are 7lbs, 3ozs.
The clothes in her pictures are 0-3 months..
She goes home to her new momma with outfit she is wearing, sleeper, diaper, blanket and magnetic pacifier.
She is a full head of rooted Very soft wavy red auburn brown hair with blonde and a bit of baby brown and 3 shades of beautiful Prisma penciled hair. I could have easily left her with the prisma hair but decided to use this beautiful premium yearling mohair which is sealed on the inside twice. She also has hand rooted eyelashes in auburn brown.
Ivy has an adorable expression, with her big beautiful brown eyes. Just waiting for you to pick her up for a snuggle. She has been one of the sweetest dolls to hold. A real snuggly baby.
She has full limbs on a premium doe suede body, that is weighted with fine glass beads and premium poly fill. Her limbs are also weighted with fine glass beads and poly fill.
Care will need to be taken of her hair. She is not a play doll by any means. Her hair may be ruined if not properly cared for. Only use a soft baby toothbrush dipped lightly in clean water to make her curls. Even though her hair is sealed on the inside twice, do not tug at her hair. This is an heirloom quality doll.
She has a strawberries and cream complexion and has many heat-set layers of Genesis heat set paints and varnishes. Tipped and lightly glazed nails, nostrils, and lips. I only use paint on my dolls nails. She's very detailed ad also has painted half moons are her finger nails.
