This is Radar the Clodagh sculpt by Phil Donnelly. This is an older sculpt that I purchased from another artist. Radar has full limbs and is appx 20 inches but seems bigger, he has a big head and hands!
I like to challenge myself once in a while and paint an unusual sculpt that I have never painted before and this little guy came my way. Radar is sculpted by an artist and has a lot of deep creases and wrinkles, he has a large eyes, a peaceful face and feels good in your arms.
I did NOT paint him softly, I wanted him to look like a little boy, his skin is medium with deep painting, shading and creasing. He has undertones of lavender, salmon, rose, and gold. I painted his hair in light and medium browns and gave him a thick top root. This rooting is not mono or micro but it is directional and I made sure no more than two to three hairs were placed at a time. His hair is wavy and finger curls, I left it a little long on top so you could have styling or trim him it you like.
There is nothing delicate about him he is sturdy and all boy.
I did film myself painting him and it will be on You Tube this summer.
He is a love, if reborns grew up he would be a tree climber, a frog catcher, collect rocks and hot wheels.
He is wieghted nicely, magnetized , and will come with his nursery pacifier.
Real Reborns are made one at a time by a reborn artist. What makes these babies amazing and different from a store bought doll is that each one is unique and has perfect imperfections. If a baby does have imperfections that were not intentional the price will reflect that, if we feel it is something that may need to be disclosed we will do that in our description.
Our babies are vinyl with a soft cloth body that is weighted with glass beads. We do not weigh babies, they are filled to be as realistic as we can make them. If this is meant to be a therapy doll let us know so we can make the baby lighter for you.
Photography is done in our studio with natural lighting available at the time. Our images are not filtered or altered and may not be used without permission. We try to keep photography as honest as we can.

We also DO NOT do customs, lay-away, hold babies, swap or exchange babies or do trades, we just do not have the bookkeeping to manage that at this time. All our babies are going home for the first time.
(A "box opening" is a separate charge of 50.00. We usually do these for our You Tube friends that film their box openings or want to make the opening special for the person they are gifting the baby to. The items in a box opening are chosen by Saint Cloud Nursery for that particular baby.
Our babies are double checked and photographed at packing, before they go to post to be sure they are complete, undamaged, carefully wrapped and ready for you to love.
All babies are made at Saint Cloud Nursery in a smoke and animal free studio in California.
