Gemma is a sweet little sleeper reborn from the sculpt by Donna RuBert.
Gemma's skintones were achieved by painting many thin layers of Genesis heat-set paints. He has some of the cutest storkbites! All of his cute little fingers, toes, and sweet spots have been lovingly blushed.
Gemma features a head full of soft blonde mohair rooted in two different shades. His hair is rooted in a natural growth pattern that is underlain with a painted on guide for easy styling. His hair may be gently styled with a toothbrush and water to lay flat or to have a slight curve.
Gemma weighs approximately 5lbs and is 19 in long. He feels much heavier than she is. He was weighted using high quality fine glass beads contained in a secure pouch inside the body - no loose material. Each of his limbs is weighted evenly. He is assembled to have a newborn feel and his head must be supported like a real baby's.
The utmost attention was paid to Gemma's details: moisture glistens on his sweetly parted lips, his finger- and toenails have been realistically shaded, tipped, and satin glossed. There is even a bit of moisture around the nostrils. Gemma also features a sprinkling of milk bumps on his nose and around his eyes as well as fine lanugo on his forehead and cheeks.
Gemma arrives in a luxuriously soft muslin receiving blanket of my choice and an adorable coordinated take-me-home set. You may specify if you would like him to arrive as a girl or a boy. He also comes with a modified pacifier, which can be attached with putty for a more secure hold, also included.
