This precious little chunk is Joseph from the 3 month Realborn Joseph asleep kit by Bountiful Baby. This baby is so adorable! He’s huge and cuddly! This Joseph is an affordababy, and here is why. I bought the kit when it first came out, about a year ago. Midway through painting, I burned his head by putting it too close to the heating element. Boo! So I threw the head away and put the half painted limbs in a bin. Then, I waited patiently to find a replacement head. When I finally got a head, I threw it in the bin with the limbs. I finally decided to get him out and finish him up. Here’s where the boo boo part comes in. These limbs were mostly painted when I was fairly new to reborning. So they are not as smooth as my current babies and the creases are fairly heavy. That being said, he is still amazing. He is painted with Genesis heat set paints and sealed with varnish. He is weighted with fine glass beads and polyfil. His hair is rooted with adult mohair that lays perfectly however you comb it. He has a body designed especially for this kit by Roseanne’s Boutique. It’s bigger than the recommended body from BB. It’s more propionate for this little chunk and is so cuddly! Joey is wearing size 12 months in these pics. But some 6-9 month outfits will fit too. He will come with at least 2 outfits, his blanket, and a hairbrush.
