This listing is for a custom doll, that can be made to look very similar to this one, my previous work. You will not receive this exact doll, but a recreated version. All photos are my own work. Please allow 4-6 weeks for your custom baby to be shipped. Typically turnaround time is about 4 weeks. A small amount of combi hair can be rooted on top for an additional fee.
Wild Meadow Nursery welcomes Rosalie! She is a sculpt by Olga Auer. Rosalie is 20 inches long if she were stretched out, and weighs just over 5 pounds.
Rosalie is painted with Genesis Heat Set Paints and has undertones of peach, mint, and lavender. She is just the sweetest little bundle and curls up so nicely in your arms. She has full vinyl limbs that look like she is stretching and beginning to wake up! She wears newborn nicely, but could also fit into some larger preemie sizes.
This kit is absolutely beautiful, a favorite of mine. Her cloth body is weighted with fine glass beads and has premium polyester inside. She is a floppy baby and needs her head supported!
Rosalie is magnetized and lightly scented. Her hair is painted in many layers with genesis in a light baby brown. I mixed this color as a custom shade for Rosalie only, and I call it “fawn brown” It has various shades of my fawn color throughout to create depth. She has a sparse newborn look that is so realistic! Her painted eyebrows match. Her lashes are rooted with a dark brown mohair, and glued securely from behind.
Rosalie has capillaries and veins painted just under the surface of her skin for realism. Her sweet little lips are glossed lightly, as well as her lids, ears, nostrils, and fingernails. Nails are tipped and have slight moons.
You will find that Rosalie is very soft and silky to the touch. Her limbs and head are varnished with a special soft feeling recipe. This gives her a matte effect. Her libs and head are also capped and glued, as I always do to prevent leakage of glass beads.
