Felicity is an all vinyl, full body, drink and wet reborn girl. She has micro-rooted blond hair that is soft and shiny like a real newborn baby. She weighs 6 pounds 6 ½ ounces and is 20 inches long. She was created from the Jujube Sleeping head sculpt and uses Maggie’s body from Bountiful Baby. This baby was painted with professional quality acrylic paints, was properly prepped and sealed, and will not fade over time. The drink and wet mechanism is attained through careful insertion of plastic tubing from mouth to crotch which allows water or fake formula (made with sunscreen) to pass through her system. No liquid will leak into the inner materials as long as her specially crafted bottle is used. She has been weighted with steel pellets and ground artist sand, which is pure, clean, and used for art projects…not sandboxes or beaches. She has an inner cloth body to attach her limbs. Although she is basically waterproof, she cannot be bathed as water may leak through her creases and damage the insides. Her eyelashes and eyebrows were hand-rooted, like her hair. She has carefully painted nails. She has faint mottling and veins as well as shading and blushing which give her a very real baby look. Felicity comes home with two outfits plus a plain white onesie she will wear home. Also included are her special bottle and pacifier, a soft blanket, extra diapers, a pacifier clip, and a hair accessory. Reborns are collectible works of art, not toys for children.
