** This baby does have a few small flaws due to her age. She has some tiny rough patches on a couple of her toes and a bright red stain on her right hand that does not show well in photos. She is a perfect reborn for a child or a care facility as she is lightweight and easy to disinfect. The last picture in the listing shows her in her original condition before reborning.
Baby's skintones were achieved by painting many thin layers of Genesis heat-set paints. All of her cute little fingers, toes, and sweet spots have been lovingly blushed. Baby was double sealed with smooth textured matte varnish. Due to her age, she may be more prone to becoming shiny if handled frequently.
Baby features a head of hair that was achieved using both Genesis and Ultimate Fusion painted over her molded hair. Her hair was created in many overlapping layers to create depth and realism. It was left with a slight shine to achieve maximum realism.
Baby weighs approximately 2.5lbs and is 17 in long. She feels much heavier than she is. She is currently not weighted to accommodate a child or an elderly customer, but can be weighted if desired. Her limbs can be positioned by carefully rotating them. Again, the joints are stiff due to her age.
The utmost attention was paid to Baby's details: moisture glistens on his sweetly parted lips, her finger- and toenails have been realistically shaded, tipped, and satin glossed. There is even a bit of moisture around the nostrils.
Baby arrives in a luxuriously soft muslin receiving blanket of my choice and an adorable coordinated take-me-home set. You may specify if you would like her to arrive as a girl or a boy. She also comes with a modified pacifier, which can be attached with putty for a more secure hold, also included.
