💙 Bringing to Life 💙 Once "Xiomara" arrived, her vinyl was giving a warm bubble bath with dawn dish soap to get rid of any excess oils and dirt from the factory. She was then set on a drying rack to air dry for a couple of hours. After she was finished drying, I began to delicately paint her using the extenuating primary method, which consists of using: blue, red and yellow paint. This gives the skin different hues throughout the complexion to mimic alive babies as well as adds depth. She has subtle purple, yellow and pink mottling to bring out her skin tone even more. Her creases are defined and her veining is very subtle. Her nose and her eyelids has been shaded to add depth. Her eyebrows has been painted and shaded with powders as well as her hair line.
💙 Mohair 💙 She has been mediumly mono rooted with premium dark brown slight wavy mohair. I use a 43 gauge German forked needle to root all my babies. The smaller the gauge, the less hair per hole. Her hair has been sealed with Liquitex Matte Gel which is a pliable and water proof gel, it goes on white and dries clear. Her hair can be *gently* styled. I recommend styling with Crazy Dog Baby Powder Dog Grooming Spray, 8-oz bottle as it is meant for animal hair and mohair is actually goat hair. Mohair is preferred to use on smaller/younger reborn dolls because it mimics fine newborn hair where as human hair (which often comes from adults or older children) can be thick and is preferred for toddler and child sized dolls. This mohair is fine so it can be broken off if not careful. Her eyelashes has also been mono rooted with the same mohair used for her hair.

💙 Notes 💙 This baby has a FLAW on her ear so I have appropriately labeled her as a "boo boo baby". When I was just finishing up her rooting, I had on a black sequin shirt and it transferred on part of her ear. Please look at photos carefully as I have a *strict* no refund policy. Last photo is of the imperfection. I have reduced her price from the original asking price due to this flaw :)
