If you purchase my doll and ask me to send it to a different address than PayPal has I cannot do that. I will refund your payment minus PayPal fee's.
My doll is not meant to be a play toy for small children. Also, if you have chewing pets use caution as the limbs contain fine glass beads.
Johannah is a good sized newborn reborn doll. Weighing approximately five pounds and nineteen inches.
She has been painted with layer upon layer of very translucent genesis heat set paint. I have given her a blotchy newborn complexion.
Extra details were given to blushing veining, baby capillaries and blue undertones in areas where the skin would be thinner.
The limbs and head are vinyl. I have weighted the limbs with fine glass beads. The limbs were sealed to prevent any leakage. I added a small amount of stainless steel beads to her hands so they pose better. The limbs are full length allowing for a larger variety of clothing. I made this doll firm feeling and not so floppy. She still feels wonderfully real to hold. The cloth torso body was weighted with plastic poly pellets. Please make note of the fact that the cable tie around the doll's neck has the knob to the side. It is slightly prominent but no sharp edges. It is not noticeable when doll is dressed.
The head has been weighted with poly pellets and high quality fiber fill. I gave the head a neck ring so it can turn from side to side..
I painted the hair on Johannah with Ultimate Fusion Air Dry Paints. I loved using this paint and was really impressed with how realistic looking it turned out. Lots of swirls and baby hairs. Painted hair will always be neat and trouble free. I prefer painted hair when I am working on a doll that looks like a newborn. I like the slightly balding look and that it sits neat and close to the head. The eyebrows were painted with the same air dry paint. Her eyelashes are wispy rooted lashes with Slumberland Mohair.
The doll wears 0-3 months baby clothing. Her layette will include all of the clothing she is seen wearing. No other props or items will be included. The doll DOES NOT have any magnets. I did not like the way it sat on the face. The layette will include the Certificate of Authenticity that comes only with a first quality doll. I include a personalized certificate of adoption with the doll's name and the name of the adopting parent. If you want a different name than Johannah let me know at the time of the sale. I include a care sheet with my own suggestions for keeping the doll in pristine condition.
