This very unique little boy is from the Alfie sculpt by Laura Lee Eagles. He was lovingly reborned by me to resemble a baby who was born with albinism. He weighs in at 6lbs 10 ounces and is 19 inches long. I do not paint with flesh colours. Albino Alfie was created with just as many layers, and many of the same colours, as I paint my other babies. His skin is deeply layered and textured with every colour of the rainbow. He has been deeply mottled with peach and lavender and textured with deep blue and yellow ochre. He has deep veining on his head and limbs and dark capillaries on his face, mainly around his eyes. His beautiful resin eyes are pink, red, and blue tinted and resemble those with ocular albinism. These eyes were made by Doris Moyers-Hornbogen of DM-H Studio. Little Alfie has white, prisma, eyebrows and white applied lashes. His beautiful hair has been expertly rooted by me with white, angora, mohair.
This baby comes home with two outfits, two blankets, a sleeper, a hat, shoes, socks, a sweater, his magnetic pacifier, a pacifier leash made by my 15 year old daughter who has Autism, his zebra doudou (lovey), a toothbrush for his hair, hair conditioner, diapers, COA and other paperwork, a birth certificate (in French), and a special treat from France for the new parent (s)
