Baby Birdie was created from the sculpt of the talented Laura Lee Eagles . Permanent Air Dry acrylic paints were used to create a natural light newborn skin tone. She has been meticulously painted with light mottling, veins, tiny capillaries and small baby imperfections and has realistic manicured and sealed finger and toenails. She has been sealed with a permanent matte finish to protect her lovely baby complexion. Please note that she has a velvety feel to her so she does not have that vinyl feel. She is 17 inches long and weighs approx. 3 lbs. 8 oz. Little Birdie has painted hair in a simple, basic style in a lovely medium brown color with painted eyebrows to match as well as hand rooted eyelashes. Baby has been fitted with a magnetic pacifier so please take care around electronics. She has a soft doe suede body and I use only high quality poly pellets, glass beads and fiberfill in the limbs, body and head. Please remember that Birdie is a fine collectable, NOT a child’s toy and should be treated as such. Birdie will arrive with the clothing shown, along with 2 diapers, soft white baby blanket, paci, care instructions, COA, and birth certificate. Just think how much fun you’ll have shopping for this little one!! She wears clothes ranging from 0 to 3 months, depending on manufacturer. ***Please note that Birdie is NOT tightly stuffed so her head is floppy and will fall back just like a newborn. She is easily posable and can be put in many baby positions. Please support her neck and head to avoid any damage.
