Amber is a sleeping drink and wet full vinyl reborn baby with sparse dark blond hair. She weighs 5 pounds 12 ounces and is 19 inches long. She is anatomically correct and will drink from a bottle specially made for her and she will wet her diaper. She also takes a special pacifier using putty as magnets cannot be used in her mouth due to the tubing.
DO NOT BATHE this baby. Even though she may take water inside her special mechanism, she has a cloth inner body as well as weighting and stuffing material that cannot get wet. She has been artfully painted with Liquitex professional grade air dry acrylic paints after proper prepping with a special sealer which allows the paint to adhere with permanence given gentle care and handling. Her nails are tipped realistically. Her eyelashes and eyebrows are rooted with the same soft gorgeous mohair as used on her head.
Just take special care while feeding that the bottle does not drip excessively down the mouth and neck which could possibly seep inside the cracks or damage the paint on her face. Hold the bottle so that the special nipple fits inside completely; use a bib or burp cloth to keep her face dry.
Carefully match up the pointed end of the nipple with the tubing…do not shove or force it inside. It is a perfect fit that should slip in easily if lined up correctly. You may feed the baby distilled water or faux formula made with sunscreen and distilled water. Other formulas may work, but they have not been tested and so are not recommended. Feed her slowly. If the nipple clogs, remove the cap and blow into the nipple tip.
Her head is slightly floppy and may be turned slightly but she should never be lifted by her head or limbs. If you follow these guidelines, you will have a lot of fun feeding your baby and changing her diaper.
Amber will come home to her new mommy with a box opening full of baby items: 2 outfits, extra diapers, her special bottle and pacifier, and a cuddly soft blanket. All other clothing and accessories in the pictures are photo props and are not included.
