Must be 18 or older to purchase my doll. No free dolls!!! My doll is unique as it is a combination of two separate kits. The head is Candy from Bountiful Baby and the limbs are from the Kira kit by Cindy Musgrove. . I consider it a boo boo doll and I will explain what they are. It is a sweet and beautiful baby doll and feels adorable and cuddly and real. Perfect gift for an older child.
The details of reborning my kit.
Approximate 19 to 20 inches and weights just under 5 pounds. *********************************
The body is a soft cloth. I normally use on the cloth bodies from Bountiful Baby but the Kira kit has front load legs so I have gone to a different vender for the body. It is a well made body. It does have little separate flaps that cover the cable tie ends. They are secured onto the cloth body but I did not sew or fasten them down further.

-I have given the doll painted realistic looking hair with genesis heat set paint. The pattern is very realistic I am my own worst critic when working with my dolls and the only thing I didn't like about the painted hair was that the strands were not as sharp and black looking as I would have liked.
Because of the open eyes I decided to hand root the doll's eye lashes rather than glued applied eye lashes. I am extremely pleased with the way the lashes look. They are secured but I would advise to use care when dressing the doll and pulling clothes over the head. The mohair for the lashes comes from Slumberland Nursery. The eyes are beautiful and realistic looking acrylic eyes from Bountiful Baby. She is wide eyed and precious as can be.

I have weighted the doll's torso with baby fat pellets from Bountiful Baby. I have enclosed them in a double stocking for safety. While the weight is not as heavy as plastic poly pellets I think it gives the doll and very soft feeling body. I have placed quality fiber fill around the pellets. The limbs are weighted with fine glass beads and capped and glued to prevent any leakage. I've weighted her head with plastic poly pellets enclosed in a heavy stocking and added fiber fill to hold the bag in place. The head has a plastic neck ring and can be turned from side to side. Her little head should be supported when picking her up. The limbs have limited movement but can be posed for pictures. The limbs are full length so doll can wear a variety of clothing.

Painted with Genisis heat set paints using primary colors adding and mixing with differing strengths of a solvent to get the correct color effect, then by using make-up sponges, brushes, multi layers of light washes, for highlighting thin skin over bone adding the appearance of depth bringing in other multi-layer for skin tones and adding soft delicate mottling and blushing Skin veining , broken capillaries . Eyebrows are hand painted with a 3D effect, in similar color to her hair.
Nails tipped and glossed for protection as well as realism. The most prominent boo boo is on the nail tips of the doll. I love the fingers as they feel real and flexible. On her right hand one of the nails does have a flaw that I believe occurred while heating. It does not detract from the safety of the nail. It just protrudes a bit. Also on her left hand one of the nails does not have very prominent nail color tip.
This little combination doll is very special to me and I think it is a good example of a reborn doll I find it to look a little dolly like. As I said before, I am my own worst critic.
