Tika is a beautiful mixed-race drink and wet reborn baby girl. Her skin is light suntan in color; she has light gray/blue eyes and dark curly hair with painted dark brown eyebrows. Her nails are beautifully tipped. Her creases and shading give her a very realistic look as for a baby about a month old.
She has a half torso body with full arms and legs, a lower body which is anatomically correct, and a cloth chest portion. She uses a tubing mechanism which allows her to drink from a specially made bottle and use a pacifier designed for use with this baby alone. Because of the tubing, she cannot use magnets in her mouth. She can drink plain water or faux formula made from sunscreen lotion mixed with water. Other types of formula may also work, but they have not been tested. If her insides clog, she can be fixed by feeding her a bottle of vinegar and water. The cloth body has arms which are jointed and move freely.
This baby is 22 inches long and weighs 8 pounds 10 ounces and is weighted to have a slightly floppy head which nestles nicely when held. She wears 0-3 month size clothing and can also wear Newborn sizes that fit more snuggly. Her rooted hair may be combed, styled, and shampooed taking care to not get the body wet. Her vinyl parts may be kept clean using a damp cloth with mild soap. All of her internal parts are safely protected from water so that she can drink, but she cannot be immersed in water.
Tika comes home with two outfits, a receiving blanket, her bottle and pacifier with clip, as well as several extra diapers.
A reborn doll is NOT A TOY for a child. The dolls are artist made creations for adults and collectors. They must be treated gently. Do not pull on the limbs or attempt to remove any part of the body. Do not lift the doll by the limbs or head.
