The doll offered for "adoption" is the Realborn kit, Autumn. It is a beautiful example of a hand crafted in the true art form of a reborn doll. I believe the photographs do not even do the doll justice.

The body is a soft cloth. It is one of the bodies recommended for the kit by Bountiful Baby. I loved the fit of the cloth body torso for this doll. I think it is the perfect body for little Autumn.

-I have given the doll painted realistic looking hair with ultimate fushion air dry paints
************************************************** While I have used only genesis heat set paint for the entire doll I did use ultimate fusion paint for her hair. It gives the hair much more dimension and realism then I can get with the genesis paint. The paint is air dry and sealed for durability. It is painted in a realistic hair styles with lots of movement and little baby hairs running onto the face. It has taken me every bit as long to use this type of paint as it would if I were rooting the hair.
I have weighted the doll's torso with plastic poly pellets. I have tried a slightly different technique than I normally use in which I wrapped cotton quilting batting all around the sock holding the poly pellets. I love the way it feels. The doll has a very realistic feel to it. I have used plastic rings on the end caps of the arms and legs which is allowing for a greater posing ability. The limbs are weighted with fine glass beads and capped and glued to prevent any leakage. I've weighted her head with plastic poly pellets enclosed in a heavy stocking and added fiber fill to hold the bag in place. The head has a plastic neck ring and can be turned from side to side. I have not made Auturmn's head to feel overly floppy. I would still recommend supporting it when picking her up. Her little head should be supported when picking her up. The limbs are full length so doll can wear a variety of clothing.

Painted with Genisis heat set paints using primary colors adding and mixing with differing strengths of a solvent to get the correct color effect, then by using make-up sponges, brushes, multi layers of light washes, for highlighting thin skin over bone adding the appearance of depth bringing in other multi-layer for skin tones and adding soft delicate mottling and blushing Skin veining , broken capillaries . Eyebrows are hand painted with a 3D effect, in similar color to her hair.
Lips are shaded very subtle tints. The nostrils were not opened but shaded for realism. Final Matte Finish to all limbs and face to add texture and protection.
I am really very pleased with the end results of all of my many hours spent in bringing Autumn to this lifelike appearance. ***************************************************************
The doll is NOT meant to be a play toy for a small child. Also, please use care around any chewing pets as the limbs contain fine glass beads. As the doll is fitted with a magnetic pacifier please use caution around any persons or equipment sensitive to a strong magnet.
The doll's layette will include only the clothing shown in the pictures. I will also include another lovely dress of my own choosing to accompany her. No other props or items will be included. The Certificate of Authenticity will be included as she has been made from a first quality kit. I will include a lovely custom Certificate of Adoption for her. Please let me know on purchase if you want to keep the name Autumn or choose another one. Also, the name of the adopting parent.
