This listing is for Tiffany created from the long sold out limited edition kit by Natali Blick. I am cleaning out my studio and have decided to offer some kits I painted long ago. Tiffany is one of those- she is not a boo boo baby, but not much like I paint now. Thus she is offered at far less than my babies currently sell for and sold as -is. Tiffany has a mottled fair skin tone that was created with artist grade air dry paint. The paint was sealed with matte varnish and then Soft Touch varnish, so there is a little bit of a textured rough feel especially the limbs. Areas that are typically moist were sealed with a gloss. Her hair is medium to dark brown painted in a baby style. Her dark blue acrylic eyes are framed with applied (glued) lashes and her brows are painted. Her nails were tipped and sealed.
Tiffany is about 20” with a cloth body and vinyl full legs and ¾ arms. She weighs about 4 lbs. She is weighted with fine glass beads and poly-fill. Her head will need support just like a real baby would. I do have the weighting in her head such that she can be balanced to keep her head up when sitting with some support. There is also a strong magnet for her pacifier, so she should be kept away from sensitive electronics especially pacemakers. I do not like “putty” or modified pacifiers as I feel they cause greater risk of paint wear on the lips, but the way Tiffany’s lips are sculpted means there is a bulge inside making it hard to get the magnet to sit flat. I tried several brands of pacifiers for her and the best fit I found were the classic Nuk and the inexpensive, but similarly shaped Parent’s Choice.
She will come with her certificate of authenticity, art studio birth certificate, care instructions, magnetic pacifier, sleep and playsuit, some hand crafted headbands, a few diapers, and a blanket. The glass bottle and other items are props and are NOT included.
