For adoption is Phoenix by Andrea Arcello. HE IS A BOO BOO BABY. Please look at all the pictures and ask any and all questions before purchasing as he is sold AS IS. I have tried to be very objective disclosing his flaws.
I bought Phoenix a couple of months ago for $480.. I am picky and not satisfied with his paint. I am therefore listing him as a boo boo baby. The kit alone is $115 and his rooting is quite good. He would be a wonderful starter reborn or could also be redone by an artist.
The good: He has rooted light blonde mohair that is full, soft, and can be easily styled with a bit of water. He is a nice-sized kit at 21” with full limbs. His vinyl is very soft and pliable. He is easy to dress at a 3 month size. He is very cuddly and around 6 lbs. I have the COA to send with him. He takes a magnetic paci. He is cute and cuddly as is or could be touched up/redone.
The not so good: I took pictures of the flaws in daylight. These pictures are unedited cell phone pictures. Please look closely. The paint and varnish are not great. There is some shine. His artist must have used a brush to varnish because there are streaks. For some reason, she used a lot of red (in the creases, on scratches, etc.) and she used a lot of blue on the bottoms of the feet. He has a spot missing varnish/paint on his left hand. Although his rooting is good, there are a few rough spots on forehead where hair must have been rooted and removed. His eyes are set slightly crooked. It’s not terribly noticeable, but it’s a flaw.
The items or outfits in photos will not necessarily be included as they are considered photo props. I will send him with a couple of gently used outfits of my choice, 2 magnetic pacis, a pair of shoes, and his COA. Because I’m selling him at a lower price point, there will not be a “box opening”.
