This listing is for the adorable Sam sculpt by Marissa May which I have as a girl. Sam is an older sculpt that I actually started a few years ago and had to set aside to work on other projects. I decided to finish her up and offer her as a boo boo baby because there are a few little flaws in her vinyl. Specifically one finger tip had a rough area and the paint is slightly uneven there- you have to really look to see this and there is a similar spot above one ankle. She is still a very cute baby.
Sam has vinyl ¾ limbs and a cloth body. She is on a jointed body- so is kind of floppy- weighted with enclosed glass beads and poly-fil. She is about 20” and 4.8 pounds. Her head will need support just like a real baby. She can wear newborn and some smaller 0-3 months. She has a strong magnet inside for her pacifier and should be kept away from sensitive electronic devices such as pacemaker.
She was painted with Ultimate Fusion paints in a fair skin tone and sealed with Soft Touch varnish which leaves a slight velvet like texture that is still soft to the touch. A slight gloss was added to areas typically moist. Her nails were tipped and sealed. She has dark brown painted hair and painted brows. Her eyelashes are rooted mohair sealed on the inside.
She will come with her art studio birth certificate, care instructions, magnetic pacifier, sleep/playsuit with matching hat (the hat is not pictured), the sweet 1940’s winter knit baby hat, a few diapers, a handmade headband, and a blanket (not pictured). Other items are props and are NOT included.
