Beautiful, just created cuddler baby doll Bethany is ready to snuggle her way into hew new mama’s (or papa’s) heart for her first Christmas!
Handmade from the Linda Murray Bethany kit head, Bethany has been given an ALL SOFT, CLOTH weighted body. The head and arms are fixed but the legs rotate a few degrees back and forth. She is nice and plump, with generously stuffed polyfill and weighted glass beads in every body part, including lower body and head. She is 20” long and weighs about 4.5 pounds.
I have painted and sealed Bethany’s head with air dry acrylics (Reborn FX) and given her lifelike accents of premiere Prismacolor pencils, and her red hair is hand drawn in Premiere Prismacolor pencil. Two layers of sealer and matt varnish protect the painting and penciling work. She has a few sparse hand drawn lashes under her big, amazingly blue acrylic eyes. She has her kit name engraved in the vinyl on the back of her neck. This is done at the factory and cannot be removed.
Bethany comes with three 3-month size Carters outfits: the Christmas outfit, the elephant zippered footie sleep and play, and her zip up fleece sleep bag. She also comes with her Christmas socks, her scratch mitts and her pink bonnet. In addition, she arrives with a receiving blanket, two diapers, a sheet of care instructions and her plush Christmas dolly, as pictured.
I am an amateur artist. Reborning baby dolls is a passion-driven hobby for me. Bethany is not a professionally crafted baby. As a handmade item, she will have minor imperfections. Any significant any boo boos I honestly describe (Bethany has none). She is a collectible made in my smoke free home studio (where two house cats sometimes hang out) for grown ups, not a mass produced doll for child’s play. A genuine reborn doll should not be left unattended around children or pets. She needs proper, gentle care to remain in like new condition for years to come. It’s the buyer’s sole responsibility to ensure the doll is carefully handled and kept away from all hazards to doll.
