Kim was created from the limited edition Kim kit by the talented sculpter Sigrid Bock. She is number 45 or 49 of 999 world wide. The way the number is written I am not sure if its a 5 or a 9. She will come home with her certificate of authenticity. She is 9 pounds 6 ounces and 31 inches long. Layers and layers of special paints was used to create this amazing ethnic biracial living skin tone and sealed at each level for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Her limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. Her body is filled with the the same mixture. Her head has been filled with only fresh fiberfill so her head will not flop around too much. I have stuffed her body pretty fulll so that she can stand and sit up. I have found that after a while the fiberfill can shift and make them a little more floppy. She can stand on her own if you get her in the right position or you can pose her holding on to something or leaning against something to make her stand. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. I have given her beautiful ice blue eyes for a wonderful dramatic look. Her finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevet chipping. I ended up up having to fix three of her fingers when some dye got on them. there is a difference in color where I put new paint but not real noticable when looking at the doll as a whole. The first picture of a hand in my photos is the hand I retouched the fingers on. Her lips have been glossed to give a natural moist look. Her veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism . She has baby powder scented wafers in her body for that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. Her hair was rooted with premium virgin ethnic human hair. It was rooted in a natural swirl pattern with a very small needle. This takes many hours to complete such a beautiful head of hair but the realism it creates is well worth it. It is rooted in a dark brown color but does have some highlights of other colors. Her hair has been double sealed inside her head but comb gently as to not pull it out. I have not cut it short so that her new mommy can give her different hairstyles. As you can see from the pictures her hair can be combed straighter, curled up on ends or all over curly as well as different types of ponytails. Her eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. Her eyelashes were hand applied to match her hair. . All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered other than cropped so you can see what baby actually looks like. If this little sweetie has stolen your heart don't let her get away because she is a one of a kind work of art and there will never be another one exactly like her. She will come home with everything listed here. Anything not listed were part of my photo props. She will come home with her brick red sweater shirt onesie, her blue velvet flower overalls, her pink tights (so dye does not transfer to her legs), her brown fashion boots, and her yellow butterfly hair clip. Kim will have her blue button up jean type dress, hair elastics, barrettes, white socks and her black short boots. She will also have her one piece jean with embroidered flowers outfit and her black sneakers. Kim will come home with her turquoise blue hair bows but they can also be used as barefoot sandles. She will have her blue jeans and her orange velvet hooded shirt. She will come with her Jean jacket and her knitted hat/scarf with ears on it. She will have a pair of underpants and her white sandles. She will come with a blanke of my choice not shown, her certificate of authenticity ,a birth certificate , and a care instruction sheet. She comes with a unique cloth body that is decorated to look like an outfit so I have shown that in my photos. I do put babypowder wafers in my babies and most of my babies have a doeseude body that is thicker. This unique body is thinner cloth so if the wafers shifts in the fiberfill it can either cause a stain or be seen inside the cloth body. Its so cute I decided to still use this custom body for her. I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all items may not be new but all items were picked out just for her.
