Someone had a Birthday! ;) This cute little guy got to do a cake smash! How fun!
** His frosting is PERMENANT, it is made with silicone caulk and acrylic paints. It is on his face and fingers. ** His cake slices are sponge with caulk frosting (photos with no frosting/mint blanket are just to show his painting better)
He was competed in January but has been patiently waiting to be shared on a forum I am on. We did a cake smash or alternative picture parade post, so I was keeping his frosting pictures secret until it was posted. He is now ready to go :)
Camilo made with the Camilo kit sculpted by Jorja Pigott. He is limited edition and comes with his numbered COA.
His lifelike details were made using Genesis Heat Set Paints. It was baked multiple times to fully cure the paint and details. Then varnished with decoart soft touch. He was assembled using fine glass beads in the arms/legs up to the elbows/knees, then stuffed with poly-fil and plugged. He also has pouches of fine glass beads in the CLOTH body and head to add weight in the right areas. Cable ties were used for added strength. He has a magnet inside for the mouth so he can take a magnetic pacifier. (his magnet is lower due to his open mouth) I added the magnet before I added the frosting. The use of a magnet may flatten the frosting over time
He has Micro-rooted curly human hair (coarser than mohair) and applied eyelashes. He has blue acrylic eyes that have been glossed.
