Meet Tessa! She is a cuddle baby who is sure to warm your heart and provide hours of cuddles! She weighs 5 lb 5oz. And fits 0-3 months size clothes.
Skin- Many thin translucent layers of Genesis Heat Set Paints have been individually heat set for each layer to build up a realistic baby toned skin with veining. Tessa has lightly textured skin with baby scratches on her face. I have sealed and textured the skin with a Genesis Heat Set Medium to give the skin a matte finish.
Hair~ The hair is hand rooted with premium mohair in a baby brown hue. Lashes are hand rooted. Hair and lashes are sealed from the inside so it can be gently styled with water spritzed onto a soft bristle baby brush. Tessa’s eyebrows are hand painted.
Weighing & Filling~ This cuddle baby has a jointed body filled with a combination of poly pellets, premium glass beads and fiber fill to give a realistic weight and feel. The cloth limbs have been appropriately balanced and weighted with micro fine premium glass beads, poly pellets and fiber fill. The head is weighted with premium glass beads and surrounded with fiber fill. On the inside of the mouth is a magnet fitted to hold a preemie magnetized pacifier (or flat style pacifier) in place. Since her cheeks are plump, certain pacifiers don’t work well. They need to be a flat style. She will come home with the pacifier pictured in her mouth. It fits better while she is laying down. I do not currently have a preemie/flat style pacifier to offer.
