Nino was created from the limited edition Nino kit by the talented sculpter Vincenzina Care. This kit is time limited and only open for one year and afte thatr no more kits will be made. Nino will come home with her certificate of authenticity. This kit is the very first dwarf kit ever made. She portrays a baby with achondroplasia dwarfism. She has short arms, short legs, an enlarged head and a normal size torso. She has been one of my favorite kits to paint and I have just loved working on her. Layers and layers of Premium Airdry Ultimate Fusion paint was used to create this amazing living skin tone and sealed at each level for protection. Not a crease was over looked. Nino's limbs are filled with glass beads, poly pellets and fresh fiberfill. The body and head are filled with the the same mixture. She has a pretty big head and I have weighted it to be a little heavy. Babies with this form of dwarfism usually have low muscle tone so their heads need lots of support. I have posed her sitting up but you have to balance her head just right and have something behind her to do this. No sand is used in my babies so they are safe to travel to other countries. Her finger nails and toe nails have been given that fresh clipped look and sealed to prevet chipping.. Her lips have been glossed to give a natural moist look. Her veins have been applied to appear under the skin for ultimate realism . Nino has baby powder scented wafers in her body for that wonderful fresh scent that all new mommies love. She is micro rooted in a natural swirl pattern with premium mohair from delta dawn. I have used three different shades of blonde with a hint of auburn. Her eyebrows were hand painted on one lash at a time. Her eyelashes I have hand rooted with same hair as her head. All of my pictures were taken in natural daylight and none of my pictures have been altered so you can see what baby actually looks like. If this little sweetie has stolen your heart don't let her get away because this sweetie is a one of a kind work of art and there will never be another one exactly like her. Nino will come home with only the items listed here and any items in pictures not listed here were used as my photo props and not part of the auction.. Nino will come home with her all of the clothes in her pictures which is her beautiful purple lace dress with matching headband. I have put a butterfly hair clip in center that can be taken off and used in her hair, she will have her purple barefoot shoes. Nino will have her darling longsleeve swim suit with her sun hat and sunglasses, her pink butterfly hair clip and her barrette. She will have her one piece red and white collared knit outfit with a matching headband, red knee socks and white walking shoes and red butterfly clip. Nino will also have her one pice zip up rainbow outfit with the matching headband and her mint green lacey socks. She will have her pink love you to the moon and back onesie shirt and her flowered cloth diaper cover. Nino will come home with her pink tutu, unicorn headband, pink lace socks and converse like sneakers, She will also have her pink baby bonnet her vintage jacket/shirt with the flowers and white footed pants. She will have her rainbow fleece reveiving blanket and her pink modified pacifiier. She will have her flowered disposable diaper and her unicorn bottle filled with magic milk ( care must be taken to keep this baby away from children and do not leave it alone with the baby incase it leaks. magic milk could be toxic to chileren and damage the paint on the reborn baby) If Nino will also have her certificate of authenticity ,a birth certificate , and a care instruction sheet. I believe in supporting my local second hand shops so all items may not be brand new but all were picked out just for her.
