Louisa by Jannie De Lange. Painted by Nancy Wheeler of Nancy’s Lil Darlings (USA) on 5-10-17. You can see Nancy’s pro quality photos of this doll on her social media accounts. I am at least her second mommy. I have had her since 3/5/18. She is sold as 26” kit but this one measures 28” with bent legs (representing a child of 33”). Head circumference is 18.5”. She weighs 9 lbs. She depicts a toddler of 15 or 16 months of age. Wears 12-18 mos size but really depends on the brand. Some 6-9 mos size will fit fine. Full arms. 3/4 legs. Nancy installed a foam type tube inside her body to give her nice support for sitting upright for posing. You can’t feel it from the outside. Her handmade German Lauscha glass eyes are not sealed in place so that they can be easily adjusted to be forward or side glancing. It’s fun to change it up. Her silky, shiny human hair is gorgeous and expertly rooted. Her lashes are applied. Brows painted. Made with Genesis Heat Set Paint. I installed a pacifier magnet. She has a slicker feeling to her vinyl that allows the clothes to slide so she is pretty easy to dress. Louisa is an open edition kit so does not come with a COA. Her artist paperwork is not included as it wasn’t included when I bought her 3 years ago. I will include the outfit that the artist photographed and sold her with. (It’s the blue gingham romper with the rocking horse smocking)
Also comes with some extras to make for a little fun box opening.
