I bought River back in November and paid over $500. It should have been sold as a boo boo baby because the hair was not done well. The hair has been painted and only rooted on the bottom part of the head. The rooted hair is glued to the side of the head. ( lesson learned- ask for photos of every part of the doll). If it suits you, you may want to find someone who can repair the hair where it’s more natural looking. I kept a hat on him and was okay with that.
However, I fell in love with River’s face, mainly his green/hazel eyes. He’s the cutest little baby boy. He smells amazing and feels like a newborn. I am not a collector and don’t want to be. I have 2 others and am more attached to them. I don’t have time for 3 so I want to put this boy up for adoption.
The artist said she stripped and repainted the doll so I wanted to add that information.
Baby will only be shipped with clothes he had on which are the only clothes he was sent with. Also he will have a magnetic paci and some diapers.
