I am often asked to paint another June, so here she is. This is the June Awake 7 months kit, but she is a big girl and really needs more like 12 months in most clothing brands. She is around 24-25 inches (slight bend in knees) and weighs about 6.8lbs. After making a few of these babies, I found that I like the way she poses at a lighter weight. She is stuffed with poly-fil and glass beads and also has a support for her head to sit on so that she keeps her head up since she is an awake older baby. June has German glass brown eyes, applied upper lashes that I left a little longer than I usually do because I like that for her-lower lashes are painted. She has a fair ivory skin tone with rosy cheeks and shading and veining to create a lifelike appearance. She has painted hair in a sweet baby style. She was painted with Ultimate Fusion paints and has Soft Touch varnish to help protect her paint and a light gloss in areas typically moist. I also have fitted her with a magnet so she can take a pacifier. Please be careful, this magnet should not be near sensitive electronic medical devices like a pacemaker.
She will come with the kitty cat summer romper which is new and a lovely vintage 1918 baby dress with tons of detail. It has some mending, but is still wearable by a doll and is very clean. This baby dress was made before buttons were so readily available and closed with tiny loops that were replaced before I got it with a small pin. This fits June just lovely and is kind of hard to find. She will also come with the handmade headband her COA/birth certificate, care instructions, and the magnetic pacifier. Not pictured, but included is a disposable diaper, sleeper, and blanket- all of these items are new. Other items such as the bottle and old rattle are just props and are NOT included.
