I created Nox from the Sold Out Limited Edition kit Violet Fairy sculpted by Shawna Clymer of Clymer's Creations. Nox is # 10 of 400 Worldwide. This mischievous, little boy fairy loves playing under the blanket of darkness, in the dirt, deep in the secret forest from where he came. He loves playing with bugs, newts and other forest creatures. He weighs 5 lbs 2 ozs and is 20 inches long. Nox who's name means "Night" is an art doll that took many hours to create. He has realistic fairy life like skin that I painted with genesis heat set paints with layers including foundation, veining, blue and purple tones, different layers of mottling colors, fae folk unique blushing and detail colors, creases, color washes, eye brows, details including some freckles, half moons and nail tips, moist areas glossed for realism and a final baked on layer of a mix of matte varnish, flesh 08 and a teenie amount of warm blush. Nox was born on a misty moonlit night with a Triskelion Birthmark on his scalp which represents the movement connecting different worlds. I directionally rooted Nox's hair with very soft, ultra premium Slumberland kid mohair in a pale blonde color and it's glued inside his head, as is his rooted upper and lower long, dark lashes. His enchanting green eyes are Eyeco polyglass. Nox has a gathered doe suede cloth body. His limbs are filled to the knees and elbows with fine glass beads, polyfil and then capped off with a plastic disc and sealed with E6000 glue. His body is stuffed with polyfil and weighted with sacks of fine glass beads. His head is weighted with a fine glass bead sack and polyfil and capped off with a plastic disc and sealed with E6000 glue. Nox will go home with his favorite toy lizard, modified pacifier, monster romper, two Gerber onsies, two Carter's body suits, one pants, two pairs of socks, baby hair brush, two pampers, baby blanket, COA and birth certificate. I put my artists signature on one of his butt cheeks on his cloth body. He will also come with an info and care sheet. He wears newborn size clothing.
