Weighing in at 4.5 pounds, Ava Jane was created from the Cassie Brace "Ava" kit. This is one of the most expressive, endearing babies I have worked on yet, and she photographs like a dream.
I used air dry Reborn FX acrylics, artist grade Prismacolor pencils and multiple layers of sealer and varnish on this doll. Her hair is drawn on with delicate strokes of Prismacolor pencil. Her sparkling hazel acrylic eyes are framed by applied lashes, and her nails are white tipped and glossed. Her skin has a textured finish. She does not have the optional belly plate. Ava Jane is weighted with fine glass beads and stuffed with cushy polyfill.
Ava wears newborn sizes. She will arrive with the outfit shown plus a sleeper, her Ty plush giraffe toy, a modified pacifier (she is magnetized to take one), two diapers, a receiving blanket, a certificate of authenticity and a sheet of care instructions.
