Newborn sized Pearl is a Realborn, sculpted from scans of the real baby ~ she weighs 4 lbs 8 oz and is 18" long. Fits perfectly in size newborn clothing. She is weighted with a combination of fine glass beads and ultra soft polyfil. She snuggles into your arms so sweetly. She has moveable full arms and legs and her head can be moved easily from side to side. Her body is cloth.
I've used Genesis heat set paints, giving her dusky, newborn pinkish skin tones with subtle blue undertones for a realistic newborn appearance. Her lashes are rooted and sealed on the inside. She has a magnetic pacifier.
After painting, I varnished her with a combo satin/matte varnish to protect the paint for years to come, so her skin has some texture to it.
She has meticulously painted hair in shades of brown with little wispy hairs at each side.
So much detail in this little one ~ she's got the cutest little wrinkly feet!
Pearl will bring along all clothing items pictured, along with her COA, pacifier, and extra diapers. She will arrive home wearing the white printed sleeper wrapped in her soft white blanket.
