He might drink his blood from a bottle, but custom Archie is the spooky-sweet junior vampire that made his family's Lost Boys dreams!!
At 21" and six pounds even, Archie has enough heft to feel real, and a body that's the perfect size for dressing (3 month size), hugging and posing for photos. He has a silvery gray-blue cast to much of the skin on his head/ears, as well as his chubby knees, elbows, fingers and feet/soles. He has several moles of various sizes, random rouge-red irregular patches on his face cheeks, realistic veins, and dramatic, dark-rimmed, light green Eyeco eyes. His two-toned hair was hand painted/drawn with air dry paint and Prismacolor Premiere pencil. Archie might just be the handsomest baby vampire going, with a dash of rad 80's-style color to give him some extra, otherworldly beauty.
I reborned Archie using air dry acrylic paints (Reborn FX), weighted him with fine glass beads and used polyfill to fill his cloth torso/body out. I applied several layers of sealer and matt varnish to protect his color for a long time to come, with careful handling and the proper environment/storage. He is fitted for a magnetized pacifier.
He is the first alternative/fantasy baby I have ever done, and it sure was fun to think outside the box for him!
